Everyone loves Lizzy’s Smokehouse blend. This blend takes it up a notch to make an incredible seasoning blend and especially a rub. It too has the smoky base of Alder wood but from that point on this blend adds woodsy herbs and strong aromatics. This is also terrific to roll buttered baking potatoes in then wrap in foil and cook on the grill or in the oven. Toss a teaspoon a pound in a crock pot with a pork shoulder, the contents of a can of beer and slow cook all day. Shred and serve over rice or on a bun.
